Medical-grade Microneedling with Rejuvapen®

Medical-grade microneedling is an advanced, FDA-cleared treatment designed to stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin—the building blocks of healthy, youthful skin. At LG Aesthetics & Wellness, we use the Rejuvapen® NXT, a precision medical device that creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin’s surface to trigger your body’s healing response.

Before treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied for approximately 30 minutes to ensure optimal comfort. Once the skin is fully desensitized, the Rejuvapen is glided across the treatment area using sterile, single-use microneedle tips that create thousands of micro-channels. These channels promote cellular turnover and allow for deeper absorption of professional serums or growth factors applied immediately afterward.

Over the following weeks, collagen remodeling improves skin texture, minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, reduces the appearance of acne scars and enlarged pores, and enhances overall tone and firmness.
A typical treatment takes about 45–60 minutes, and most patients experience mild redness similar to a sunburn for 24–48 hours.

Results continue to develop over several weeks as new collagen forms. For best outcomes, a series of 6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended, followed by annual maintenance of twice yearly

Mesoneedling

Mesoneedling is similar to microneedling but is targeted to be more superficial, addressing skin health and radiance rather than collagen stimulation. It  combines the same microneedling technology of Rejuvapen but  is customized with topical infusions to deeply nourish and rejuvenate the skin.

During treatment, a series of ultra-fine needles create controlled microchannels that mildly stimulate collagen and elastin production while delivering a tailored blend of active ingredients—such as peptides, vitamins, antioxidants, and growth factors—directly into the dermis where they are most effective.

Because of the superficial nature, there is no need for numbing and the treatment is painless.

Commonly treated areas: face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

Recommended series: 6  treatments spaced every 2 weeks apart for optimal results.

Microchanneling

Microchanneling is similar to microneedling but utilizes a stamping or micro-infusion device that
is nonmotorized creating thousands of uniform microchannels to infuse serums into the epidermis and upper dermis where they are most effective.

Unlike roller or pen-based systems, microchanneling uses a fixed needle pattern that delivers
consistent depth and reduced trauma to the skin—resulting in faster recovery and enhanced outcomes. The procedure can also be paired with topical serums, exosomes, or growth factors to amplify results.

This treatment refines texture, minimizes fine lines and pores, improves acne scars, and enhances overall skin firmness and glow. Mild redness typically resolves within 24 hours, and
improvements continue to develop for several weeks as collagen remodeling occurs.
